Okay, you won't be seeing me on DA for probably a long time... I'm bucking down and staying away from Photoshop and working on my 3D now. I haven't done it in forever and I really need to keep my skills there up and make some things much better.

ah, and here I thought you were enjoying my art. I must not be good enough for you then, huh? :crying:

Though I must admit, I do like creative storytelling. I haven't written anything in quite some time, however I have been in the process of creating a few different story ideas... a few because I don't know how to focus :work:

I'll have to take a look see and perhaps start writing again. Thanks for not looking at my art, talk to you again!, lol

i have a question for using layer

after i did the line art this it the part i'm not sure if i do even right

i able to use the transparency setting for the layer, that protect the ink line whine i color.

but when i go to mask layer for a certain place, face, eye, etc

when using the magic wand it leav a white small line.

douse this have to do witht he line art layer?

i need to start over? ^_^;

gosh i need to relearn how to do this....i send screenshot if i made this sound confusing...

lol, well keep in mind that I'm using Photoshop Elements, so I don't have mask layers. However, I don't need them.

What I do is put different elements of the art work on different layers. Each new layer is transparent except for the color I use on that layer.

I've uploaded a progress version of my "Commanding Officers" to show you what I mean. I put all of my layers together on this art piece and also show you my layers window.

I hope it helps out.
